AI Message Generation

Tend's AI message suggestion feature runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device language models. No data is sent to external servers or third-party AI providers. Your conversation context stays completely private on your device.

Information We Collect

Tend does not collect any personal information. We do not use analytics services, crash reporting tools, or any other data collection mechanisms. All data stays on your device.

Device Permissions

Tend may request the following device permissions:

• Contacts — To import contacts into the app. Your contact data is stored locally and never uploaded to our servers.
• Notifications — To send you reminders when it's time to reach out to someone. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device and persists until you delete it within the app or uninstall Tend. We do not retain any data on external servers.

Children's Privacy

Tend is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for users of all ages. The app does not collect any personal information from any user, including children. All data is stored locally on the device and is never transmitted to external servers.

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all app data by uninstalling Tend from your device.

If you are a resident of California, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the CCPA or GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data.
